What is Permanent Jewelry?

The idea of permanent jewelry is to have it forever! No clasps to fumble with and no more forgetting to put it on. But don’t worry,  if you want to take it off for any reason, you can simply cut it with a pair of scissors. Just keep in mind to cut it where the “jump ring” was welded - this is usually a larger circle than the rest of the chain links - so that it can be welded back on in the future. A permanent jewelry piece represents a forever “bond” with a special meaning and is such a fun activity to do with someone special in your life like a bestie, a partner, a sibling …or simply do it for YOU! Maybe to remember a special event, a special pet or in memory of someone important in your life. Or, do it just because!

The “permanence“ of Permanent Jewelry refers to the ease with which it is customized and welded so you won’t have to worry with troublesome clasps, forgetting your jewelry and fumbling daily with putting your jewelry on. It’s made custom to fit you for daily wear 24/7.

Yes, we recommend appointments for your Permanent Jewelry experience. A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to schedule your appointment. This deposit will be applied towards your total on the day of your appointment as long as you don't cancel less than 24 hrs and as long as you show up to your appointment. If an appointment is missed or canceled within less than 24 hrs of your scheduled time, you will forfeit the deposit. Late arrivals may forfeit your appointment time and a reschedule may be required. Sometimes we do “Pop Up” events that are open to walk ins. Follow us on Instagram to see walk in events. 

Each appointment takes approximately 20 minutes. Please arrive to your appointment on time to allow enough time to sanitize, select your chain, select your charm/s, design and custom fit your piece and then Zap! weld your new jewelry. For group events, each group member will need a separate appointment. If you have questions regarding a group event, message me! I’m happy to help!

We offer options in goldfill, sterling silver, stainless steel and 14k gold. Premium materials such as these prevent tarnishing and are perfect for daily, continuous wear!

We ensure your piece is fully welded on you and there are no issues with the chain on the day of your appointment.

If enough pressure is applied to the chain or if it gets caught somewhere, the chain can break, just like with any jewelry.

Contact us if you need a repair. We will inspect the chain before re-welding it on you and make sure there are no issues with the chain. Most repairs are $10 but if the integrity of the chain has been compromised or if it has overstretched then you will need to purchase a new chain.

We don't offer replacements on broken or lost pieces. If your piece is lost you will need to purchase a replacement. .

Repairs and re-welds of our pieces start at $10.

We recommend that you speak with your doctor and ask if you will need to remove your permanent jewelry during your X-ray or MRI appointment. 

Many of our clients have not been required to remove their permanent jewelry but that is up to the discretion of your doctor.

If you are required to remove your permanent jewelry, simply cut the jump ring and store everything including the jump ring in a zip-lock bag. We will gladly re-weld it on you for our $10 service fee. Just book a new appointment when you are ready to re-weld your piece.

Goldfill and stering silver range between $45-$85 for a bracelet. Stainless steel typically costs $35.

Solid 14k gold starts at $125+

We rotate our chain styles and they vary based on availability on the day of your appointment. We have an assortment of chains for you to choose from and you will surely be able to find one that you love. Charms are additional and start at $25. *Pricing is subject to change based on availability and supplier specifications*

We recommend Permanent Jewelry for children 13 and up. Rough play can break a permanent jewelry piece and small parts are not safe for young children.
